A/C Smell
There is a weird smell coming from my air conditioning system. Is there a cabin filter on this car? If not, is there another way to get rid of the odor.
Thanks for any help you can give. |

Re: A/C Smell
Doh, the car is a 95 Mustang GT.
What do I put in the vents to make it smell better and get rid of the odor? It smells kind of like fumes from under the hood, so maybe there is something there that I need to do. |

Re: A/C Smell
If it smells like "fumes" of some sort you may have some sort of vent leak or something. Although I've never heard of that. I have seen vents get moldy or mildew smelling and there is a can of stuff you can pick up at gas stations or parts stores that you put in the vents.
