Yaris 2007 Display Panel Lights

Just bought the 2007 Yaris with 13 K. I noticed at night, when I turn on the headlights, the display panel lights turn off. Is there a switch to turn them on or a dimmer that I should raise ?

not 100% sure if this carried over from the older model but if you hit the button that changes between mph and kph, that also serves to turn them on/off. By the same token, if during the day when you might need the display on, hitting this button will do it.

The short version, try hitting the mph/kph button.

my 2008 yaris has a dimmer switch below the left cup holder on dash.
