2003 Caravan Speedometer Backwards.
I had left the ingnition key in the on (not started) position all night, needless to say the battery was dead in the morning. When I tried to start it the speedometer needle went all the way around past 120 and stayed there. Now the speedometer does not work. Also my radio is pure static now. I jump started it and everything works fine except these 2 problems.
Any helpful advice out there? Pat |

Re: 2003 Caravan Speedometer Backwards.
radio might have lost preset stations, make sure you're dialed in correctly. and on my 01(might be the same for yours)you can do a calibration test for the guages.key off press and hold the odometer button, that starts the test.

Re: 2003 Caravan Speedometer Backwards.
Put it through a self test & recalibration cycle. With key in ign switch but in off position. press and hold both the Trip and Odometer Reset buttons until "Sof XX" appears in the odometer window. When it's done it will display "end"3. If there's a trouble code stored it will display that also.

Re: 2003 Caravan Speedometer Backwards.
I want to thank you for your help. It worked. The speedometer is working as it should. My radio is still all static. I tuned to stations I normally listen to but there is nothing but static. I didn't have this problem before all this started. Any suggestions?
Also, does anyone know where to get a list of the codes? Pat |

Re: 2003 Caravan Speedometer Backwards.
You might be out of luck with the radio , I have heard of other people that this has happened to and when they jump started the car it blew out the radio .Make sure everything is turned off and then pull one of the battery cables for 10 minutes and see if it will reset probably not which in case its time to start looking for a new radio.
