Just bought a very well maintained 2002 WRX...have some questions
It has 93,000 miles on it. All the belts are in great shape. Everything seems to be working well, but I am tenative to really drive it once in awhile. It has a Invidia turbo back exhaust which I put on it, but it came with an AEM cold air intake. I know that the cai could be creating a potentially lean condition, and have no information on whether or not the computer was tuned to correct the change in air the MAS is reading. I really don't know why people think that a CAI will affect a turbocharged engine, but o well.
Also, should I replace all fluids in the transmission, clutch and brake lines? I am not ready to pay the money to fix something major, so what preventative measures should I take?
Thanks so much for your input. Oh, and I've been driving the car out of boost for the whole time I've had it. (yes, i am paranoid... but it's my car now)
