bosche spark plugs

I have just replaced my front 3 spark plugs about a month ago, never had the nerve to do the back ones yet. Over the past couple of days ago the engine worked fine shut the engine off and then started again and there was a like to me a dead cylinder and the check engine light blinking. I have used bosche plugs on the front but have read that bosch plugs will cause problems. Will I change the back 3 first or put original ones back in the front?

Any thoughts
Jeff

Re: bosche spark plugs

Get the proper AC Delco plugs and wires, if needed, in place of the Bosch plugs, whether or not this is the direct problem.

Re: bosche spark plugs

Your problem may be that you only replaced the front rather than a problem with the plugs you used. These vehicles use dual tower coils such that two cylinders are fired by one coil. A mismatch in the plugs results in a different energy distribution in the plugs such that one cylinder may misfire. The condition may change with load. I've seen some cases where the engine will barely run.

Re: bosche spark plugs

Used the AC replacement plugs on all 6. I get 32mpg on the hiway with dual A/C and extended van.
