Someone tell me about the R34 GT-R M-spec?
What's the deal with the R34 GT-R M-Spec then?
What does it stand for? I am interested in visual details as well as specification! Also any interior shots would be appreciated! |

Thanks!
So is the gold the only colour available? I see it on the Japanese site, but I can't translate it as it is all done in Flash or something!

Skyline GT-R M Spec is the fastest production stock Skyline built. It is faster than V Spec like what Type R is from Honda. It has engine upgrade, suspension upgrade and numerous other tweaks. It is available in only 2 colors. Goldish brown and Greyish silver I believe.

F20C got it the closest.
I'm full of M-Spec info but to lazy to type up all of the techinical goodies. If you read the newest issue of evo magazine (issue 35 I think). I test drive it. It's supposed to be the best R34 out even edging the V-Spec2. evo gave it 4.5 out of 5 stars if my brain still works.EDIT: opps... I didn't test drive it evo did. sorry if I confused anyone.

So the M-Spec has new suspension, the M standing for the guy who designed it! This makes the car less twitchy, especially on bumpy roads, and more inline with the Gran Tourers from Porsche and Ferrari! It seems Nissan want to take on the best with the R35, and this M spec is the start of showing what can be done! The paint is a Silica Gold flip, which changes colours according to the light conditions! Cool! Finally, we won't be getting them here in England!

The M-spec:
The M-Spec is the result of the first change to the GT-R made by the new team of engineers headed by Kazutoshi Mizuno (the former chief engineer at Nissan Le Mans and Group C team manager). Mizuno's team worked on the handling characteristics of the V-spec, as Mizuno felt that it's harsh, highly strung razor-edged road-handling were great for the circuit but it needed more compliance for real roads. Price: ¥5,95,000 or £34,000 (The list price is the manufacturer's suggested retail price in the Tokyo district. As dealers set prices, please ask for an actual sales price from your dealer. Insurance, tax, various registration costs, etc. are additional.) Not my info, thanks to UK 'Line Registry, heres 2 pics also |
