I just sold my car so i could buy a 94-2002 camaro,firebird,trans am, or a mustang. I found a camaro i liked and from the pictures i seen it looked ok it had an aftermarket hood body kit, exhaust, and rims. So i talk to the seller and told him look i have to drive 5 and a 1/2 hrs to come get it, and i dont want to get there and it be a piece. He tells me it has a few minor cosmetic needs. I ask him like what and he said that the front bumper has two cracks and it needs to be painted which i could see form the pics because it was primerd. So i decied to drive there and when im pulling in the car looks just like i wanted. Something that needs a little cosmetic work but nuthing mechanical so i can put a bigger engine in. So i get out and he walks up and we start to look at the car and i see that the whole rear qaurter pannel on the passanger side has been bondoed. Which could not be seen from the pics and i thought damn it what else did he lie about. so i keep looking and its the same way on the other side, plus both the doors are completely rotted out and has been bondoed so im already really pissed beacause its so bad i would have to have a shop cut out and replace the pannels and get doors. So he has the hood up and im looking and im like ok well at least its running decent. and then he shuts the hood and we get in and go for a drive. I go to take off and its a 5 speed so i go to let out the clutch and shift into second and the damn gear shift rises at least 3inch he says oh ya i forgot to tell you the tranny mount is broken. and the stereo was stolen a few wks ago but the wires were removed with care unlike some who would steal it and just cut it. so i tell him im f'ckin pissed because he lied and i wasted my day off for nothing. I tell him there is no way im paying what he wants and would at most give him $800 and he says well you said you would pay this amount and i said ya if i didnt have to spend around a $1000-$1500 on it. so we get into the car to leave and check out a few dealers on the way home and he says so what am i suppose to tell everything about it and i seriously about beat his ass. Im just venting i so mad i wasted a whole day.

5.5 hours for nothing, well 11 round trip right? How olds the kid? You don't lie just to get someone to come and look at your car, expecially if they have to drive a long distance. If it was local, maby within 30 min, I could understand but to make someone drive 5.5 hours and waist their entire day and gas money is just stupid. You sould have slashed all 4 of his tires before you left for sweet justice.

yea but what pissed me off is my wife is 37wks out of 40wks pregnant. It really dont matter now i guess it all worked out because we bought a 2000 ford mustang with a 5 speed manual for $5700 so im not as pissed now.

5.5 hours, that guy should have his ass surgically removed. Did he think you wouldn't figure out that it was a piece of crap. I mean, with a piece of cheap ass crap like that why could he have not sold it locally? He doesn't even need to posess an automobile. What a goober, I would have wanted to kick his ass too!
