Angry I need traction!

I was wondering what I could do to get more traction to my front wheels... If I hit vtec in 2nd gear uphill, I spin like crazy. If I'm just taking off from a stoplight I spin too. I have 17's with Nitto rubber and I was thinking of getting the ground control coilovers and maybe adjustable shocks so I could set them stiffer in the rear. Will this help with the weight transfer? Does anyone know if a fiberglass speaker box will save me enough weight over my MDF box to bother with? I was also thinking about getting a LSD. Are they worth the price and hassle? thanx for your help :sun:

getting the adjustable shocks will help with weight transfer so it will help with your traction. in my opinion lsd's are worth every penny, and i think they should be the first upgrade if your a racer. whats the point of having all that hp if you cant get traction, well thats what the lsd helps with. you could also run drag radials, that would help with traction. that pretty much all you can do with traction.

also is your car lowered now ? make sure your camber is good or else you wont have you entire tire touching, which would cause more traction lost.

if your gonna get an lsd, you should get a quaife lsd. i hear that those have a lifetime guarentee even when used for racing.

if you get a flywheel, get an chromoly flywheel if you can afford it.

if you get a clutch then i say get a cm stage 3 or 4

Easy Fix!

... well.. it looks like to me you're solution would be... get rid of the Vtec.

Thats your problem.

So just smack it with a hammer a few times. That should teach it a lesson. No more annoying tire spin!

My .02 cents

Yes, I am joking.
