vin location on motor?

hello all.
looking for the vin location on my ranger. cant seem to find any info anywhere after this the next step is to call a dealership.... again.
its a 94 ranger with the 4.0L in it.
want to find this to make sure that something terrible(engine swap) didnt happen the last time the truck was in for work. it had the clutch replaced and now its got tonns of lifternoise and is using lots of antifreeze.. not leaking anywhere and i cant see white comming from the tailpipe or smell it anywhere. and the oil level is constant and not milky (which is strange cause it used to use oil)
and another question if i could. can anyone tell me how many bolts they see on the motor mounts(frame side) i seem to see what looks to be one bolt and a stud(no nut on it) not sure if thats a good thing or not. im thinking not because i cant see what else would hold it on other thenthat one bolt.
anyways
any help with the vin number will be much appreciated.

thanks in advance
