1995 buick supercharger
i need help with a question. my supercharger just broke and i was wondering if i could some how put a new belt on without using the supercharger; like a none supercharger. what would i have to do or is this suggestion not do-able.

Well that depends on the model of supercharger man. Some of them actually have a separate air intake & filter on the supercharge and just add to the car's existing air intake. Others will actually obstruct the intake and must be constantly spinning or you will have a problem with performance. So disconnect the supercharger from your air intake, remove it, and just find the proper sized belt for your vehicle without the super charger, and tighten it properly. Everything should work OK, UNLESS your ECU needs readjustment for fuel mixture. Try running it without a belt first, because superchargers don't add enough boost to require ECU tuning. If you feel like your car is misfiring, then you'll need to get someone to tune it.
