At What Point Are Large Volume Fuel Injectors Required?
At what point of modifying your Sunfire/Cavalier's OEM setup are larger volume fuel injectors needed?
For that matter, are they ever "needed", or are they simply an improvement? In addition, will the vehicle's current sensors/electronics recongnize and compensate for aftermarket injectors, or is a fuel management setup required? As always, thanks to those who reply. |

Re: At What Point Are Large Volume Fuel Injectors Required?
Fuel management of some kind is a must...i'm not sure what stock injectors are rated at for Cavaliers because i dont know what size they are. I do know that Honda injectors at stock fuel pressure are rated at about 190-200whp completely maxed. Those are 270cc's
I have 550cc injectors in my GSR and at about 68% duty cycle i'm making 306/208 on 92 octane. What are your plans for the car??
