Wow there's a lot of CB's at my high school

Not just trucks but cars. I got one from my grandpa (the whole setup). I could have hotwired it to the fusebox of battery but I bought an accesory plug so I can plug it into my cigarette lighter. I'm really surprised at how many people have CB's.

I don't know if that's normal or odd...hardly anybody at my high school had one, and that was back in the day before kids all had cell phones.

My auto tech school, on the other hand, lots of guys had 'em.

Well it depends who you talk to. The majority don't have them. Most people with trucks have them though. Also a lot of people I knwo have them. You have to consider this is the middle of nowhere Wisconsin. Hunting is big and people still use the CB's.

As far as I know, I'm the only one with a cb radio at my school. Right now, its just the magnetic antenna becuase I can't mount the cb and I don't want it sitting on the floor like it was on the alabama trip.

There are also a lot of people that just buy the whips to look cool. They dont have a CB, just the antenna. However, there are still a lot of people at my school that do have CB's.

Haha got my friend's installed. While waiting for the busses to get out and sitting in line we're going to chatter away. He lives clsoe to me so we'll be BSing all night long

That depends if you're going to use it.

when i get my truck i'm getting one. but that's because i'll be doing some 17,000 miles in 3 months, and a little help from other drivers wouldn't go amiss.
