Putting on mirrors

I'm almost done with the camaro I'm building, and I've hit a snag.
What is the best way to put on the side mirrors? I know they will droop or drop off if I just slap them on. And I don't think I could hold it still long enough for it to set up.

Carefully drill a .020 dia. hole in the mirror and a matching hole in the car body. Glue a short piece of stiff wire or straight pin into the mirror and then glue the mirror to the body with a very small amount of superglue from the back side. The glue will wick up the pin into the hole and the mirror will not droop or drop off...
