Talking the wonderful world of rice

Well i was goin to court today and guess what i saw reving at me?? a 92-96 civic ex couple. This thing had altezzas, shitty exhaust, stock rims wiht hubs tooken off of them, not lowered and to top it off, an ugly ass aluminum wing.

This guy would not give up trying to race me. I would have raced him but my turn was about and 400 feet away so i drove off and this dumb ass rolled down his window and called me a pussy.

lol i hate living in this state. almost every import looks like that. They think its "cool"

sorry about my grammar but i dont feel like making it write haha i said write instead of right whatcha goin to do about it fool?

Sorry, buddy, it's not just Alabama. Every state is like that. I take it you don't like the "airplane fuselage stuck to my trunk" or the "Looky, guys, I made my wing with an Erector set!!" look?

Eh.... southerners TRYING to look cool, and coming off as Stupid

A badly modified import is just as bad as big hair as far as I'm concerned (yet something else we southerners are cursed with seeing on a daily basis).... it's an eye sore that no one should have to look at!

There is no function on a wing unless you are going over 120 mph....

True - wings are designed to create downforce, and even if the wing did work it would be counterproductive on a FWD car. Having your rear wheels firmly planted is fine, but the car functions as a lever and the front wheels are lifted off the ground proportionately.

However, small spoilers are functional. They serve to disrupt the airflow coming off the back of the car, so the air will more quickly fill the void left by the rear of the car in travel. This reduces the vacuum effect on the car and thereby reduces drag to some small effect.

Sad thing is they are usually right, my dads 98 Silverado 4X2 Extended cab smoked my friends heavily modded GS-R.

Word to that, lemme gripe about my town

- Shitty roads
- Idiot tourists not knowing where the hell they are going and driving 20 in a 40 zone
- Nothing to do here ever
and a few other things.

There are pretty good car meets round the bay area, so I guess I cant bitch that much
