cabin air filter

Does anyone know where the cabin air filter is located and how to replace it in a 99 CRV?

It's behind the Glove box. Check www.hondasuv.com, they have great info for the CR-V, both gen 1 and gen 2.

The cabin air filter is a minor pain to replace. You first need to remove the glove box by taking out the stops on the side of the box and unscrewing the mounts. Then take off the cross bar that runs in front of the cabin air filter. Replacing is easy at this point, just slide the old one out and new one in. Be careful when in this area as you have the airbag connections here also, if you accidentally close the airbag circuit you'll get a face full of fabric. take you time and be patient.
