Anyone Ever Have This Problem With A Rodeo?
Living in NYC, I almost always fold my traffic facing outside mirrors when I park. Last Friday, I got to work, folded the driver's side mirror as usual. When I was ready to go home, I unfolded the mirror and presto! The mirror no longer has any tension to it. It just wobbled back and forth. From what I can tell, it was not hit or vandalized in any way. I also was able to just lift the mirror housing right off the hinge that is attached to the door frame. The only reason it wouldn't come off completely is because the heat and power wires were holding it.
All the ball bearings were in tact (until I played with one and it came off) it's a real head-scratcher. I used some black electrical tape to hold it in place. Not too bad, but it does vibrate at speeds over 25 mph. Called up St. Charles Isuzu and ordered a new mirror for $135. It should arrive by tomorrow. Jason in NYC |

Re: Anyone Ever Have This Problem With A Rodeo?
Probably just wear and tear from folding it in a lot. I can actually say in 10yrs, I've probably only folded my mirrors in twice maybe three times - probably all in one month too, while we were visiting Port Orchard/Tacoma, Washington. We had taken the Rodeo across sections of the ocean on the ferry.
