Re: Civic vs. Celica

I would unfortunately say the Civic...more engine mod/engine swap choices and opportunities.

Course...if it were my choice...I wouldnt go FWD at all...

Re: Civic vs. Celica

Why not get a GT-S? VVTL-I > VTEC

But if you want a real sports car, realize that power is best directly applied at the rear wheels...

Civic's are so played out now i'd opt for a Celica... Chic's dig Celicas so that's a plus too.

Re: Civic vs. Celica

though the civic my be faster, with four wheels turning compared to two, you would do better with the celica. plus, there are way too many people w/ civics

Re: Civic vs. Celica

that is a really hard choice. the celica is a girls car and there is way to many civics. but since i like toyotas more than hondas, i guess i would go with the celica.

Re: Civic vs. Celica

yeah, i'm not a fan of celicas myself. but i concur, do everyone a favor and don't get a civic like everyone and their dogs do. tough choice if you ask me. if you're into the aftermarket, well the sky's the limit with the civic. but the celica is quicker to begin with, and it's not a civic. it's a lose-lose situation any way you look at it.

after torturing myself trying to figure out which car to tell you to get, i'd have to say get the civic. i just dont' like celicas that much.

best thing you can do is just test drive both and get which one you like.

I'd go with the Civic personally. I don't like that gen. celica much plus with the civic you've got a lot bigger aftermarket.

i say u go for the civic.. for toyota.. the fastest 4 banger u can fit in the celica is the 180hp gt-s engine.. but then u can put friggin anything in a civic.. b16/b18/h22 etc and alot more aftermarket parts.. but plz don't throw on altezzas n a 3 inch muffler.. doesn't do ya any good
