Thumbs up Civic Inspiration!

I have posted this car in the past but the photos where not as good as now. the first time I posted the car I didn't have photos of the car that inspired the build, "now I do". First off you will see the real 1:1 car thin the 1/25 scale model. See I built this car from memory. Now that I have a digital camera I have images of the real car as well as the model car and clear to. Hope you like.

NOW Just some more images of the model nice clear side view.

Re: Civic Inspiration!

Ferio aka the Pontiac Fiero 84-88 had one but stupid me got sold out of my stock. I put prices on the rong box. any way the bulid was to be for a friend if I built it street style it would not look like the real car. this is one of the styles in the U.S.

Re: Civic Inspiration!

came out nice i like those wheels but why not make it a full 4 door the only problem would be the interior door panels or get the ferio 4 door

Re: Civic Inspiration!

that car's not sold in the U.S. and i don't buy stuff from over seas. but I'll check with some of my friends in California the only place that gets model from "Japan". I'll see if they have one thanks for the images if I had that one it would have looked a lot closer.

Re: Civic Inspiration!

That Red Civic above is ImolaEK's ferio.

One thing you could do to have a ferio,is to get a Hasegawa civic hatchback, and a revell civic. Scrib some lines here, some pieces of the hasegawa here and there,a bit of sanding, and voilà! Maybe you can get somewhere near the Ferio!!

I wanted so much a civic sedan, but I couldn't get either a rare Hasegawa Ferio,or a Revell Coupé. What I did?? Civintegra!! Half integra body for the coupé shape, hasegawa civic front-rear,few kilos of putty...Still a WIP,but I like to look at it...No matter how it is.

I talked a lot and didn't mention your model!! It looks soo great!! Great paint job! Where did you get those wheels?? Custom made??
When it comes to Honda, call me in.
Keep up the great work!

Re: Civic Inspiration!

Those kits are long out of productions, i see em on ebay time to time. They do sell for high prices though. The build looks cool. The tan color on the block and strut bar looks a little weird to me. Gives it a toy car effect. I don't know if you scratch built the rims, if so they came out nice, the paint too. Thanks for sharing.
