'69 Chevy Camaro Z/28 Engine Referance Photos

Hi Guys

I've been working on a Monogram 1:12 '69 Chevy Camaro Z/28 on and off now for about 6 months, The body has been painted with Zero Paints, Dark Mica Grey and Pearl White, ready to clearcoat now.
But I'm currently woking on the engine with extra wiring etc.
Being British my knowledge on V8's is limited, I'm looking for some engine photos to help me out, also detail on the Distributor setup (firing sequence)

Many Thanks in Advance
Steve

Well if you're just looking for a clean, reasonable, near-stock Camaro engine bay, something like this is common:

or

You've also got your essentially original DZ302, with a single 4-barrel, the satin aluminum-coloured valve covers, etc... DZ302's had dealer-installed headers, as well.

If you're building the model with the optional Cross-Ram intake, it looks essentially the same except the air cleaner, really.

I don't know if this will help, but the firing order for the 302 is 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8.

but on the Gen III you don't have to worry about firing order unless it is converted to a distributor. Coil on Plug all you gotta do is wire from the coil to the plug the computer does the rest..

Nice work on the stripes! I am looking forward to seeing it finished!

I found alot of great reference pics on Ebay and by doing a Google image search. Barret Jackson`s website might have some good pics too.
