90 and 92 ECM wiring

The ECM in my 1990 STE (non-turbo) is going bad. A friend gave me an ECM from a 1992 SE (same engine, same tranny).

Is the ECM wiring the SAME, or can someone get me the wiring diagrams so that I can check for myself?

I know that 1993 is different, but I have a 1988 book, and a 1993 book, so I can't compare.

Thanks.

Re: 90 and 92 ECM wiring

Get me the OEM service number off both ecm's. As long as they match, or one supercedes the other (I can tell you if they do if the #'s are different), all you have to do is swap the e-prom from your original to the "new" one and you should be set.

Re: 90 and 92 ECM wiring

I want to use the 92 eprom as well. I have been able to trace my surging problem to either the ECM, or the EPROM, so I am just going to replace both.

I will get the numbers this afternoon, or tomorrow.
