Smile It's a nice, sunny Day.....tona!

I built this Fujimi Enthusiast kit a long time ago, just after my 12 year modeling vacation. Boy, did I go in over my head, I had no business attempting this kit at that time. It was actually painted with Testors yellow first and it looked awful, so it went back in the box til I discovered Tamiya paint. Fortunately that happened real soon so I got a decent paint job on the body and finished it. I recently put the etched Detail Master wheels on it. The hood never would close right with the oil filters attached so that's why they aren't there.

I never got this kit. I have an Italeri...well, at least it has a better chance for me to actually build it. Enthusiast kits require a commitment I haven't felt like keeping long enough to get another built! Nice work, always liked your model.

Even at the Anniston contest, where we were competing in the same OOB class. I had run my mouth about how well my Tamiya Jaguar Mk. II sedan had gone together. So one of the judges told me after the awards your Ferrari won because it had required more work because it was one of those Enthusiast kits, otherwise w/o me saying how "easy" the Tamiya kit was they'd have picked my Jag-You-Are. Oh well...I'll try to keep quiet next time or just go to an NNL! Though now your Daytona's out of the OOB category w/those wheels. Hey...I demand a recount!

Thumbs up Nice!

That's one of the coolest Ferraris ever made, second only to the 512 BB!! You've done a great job!! Thanks for sharing!
