Swap questions pittsburgh
I'd like to swap in a d16y8 or z6 engine in my 91 dx automatic. Are there any swap shops in the pittsburgh area that can do this work, and does anyone know about how much this will cost me? i'd like the si tranny too

Hey, i had an auto also, and its a lot of work to do the auto to manual conversion, it was a whole lot cheaper for me, AND YOU, to get a stick shift car.... so i got the Si!!

I have a good friend in North Versailles who's done that exact engine/tranny swap in that exact car, except that he put a turbo on it too. He knows his stuff and can do whatever. Call him at 412-607-5202, he's cool, his name is Chris, I'm sure he'd hook you up. Tell him Ritchie told you to call.

The only shop I know of that does this every day is Speed of Sound in Wilkins Twp. I cannot vouch for this sort of project-but the work on my cars that they have done was first rate. Price-who knows, call and ask. BTW: FX Motorsports in Greensburg is another good shop.

Swap
If you wanna drive like 2 1/2 hours to me i'll do it. I live up by Erie. If you want it done than i'll put a B18a in it cheap. I have one laying around that i could let go of cheap. If your interested email me at [email protected] i could do the whole swap in 2 days or maybe 1 1/2 if i got moving.
