Hi,
New to the boards. I just purchased a 2000 Grand Prix SE with the 3100 3.1 Litre engine. I also purchased a cold air intake system for it.The cai is on and when I run my a/c, it is warm. The MAF has been removed and both ait and maf sensor have been taped off. Is there something i'm missing that's keeping the a/c from registering to get cold. My cai is attached directly to the throttle body. I've also been looking at a chip for the ait sensor to add extra hp to the car. Any help is greatly appreciated. I just want my a/c to blow cold air. I'm not a mechanic, but I'm pretty sure that you MAF has to be attached. Is you CAI a homemade deal or is it a kit? If it's a kit from a manufacturer, who? I don't know any that would have you tape off the MAF.
