94 rodeo 4x4 for sale only 45,000mi
i have an 1994 rodeo LS 4x4 for sale 4000obo it only has 45,000mi on it. its got a new brush tow package bug gaurd window visors etc. it ran perfect then the next day it would not start. if you read my previous post youve seen what all i have replaced on it. ill list them again, 1. fuel filter/pressure reg, 2. intake manifold gasket, 3.all 3 coilpacks/ plugs and a few other things. it rotates but will not start. if i knew what else it could be id fix if before i sell it. 4000obo or trade for 2 door 5 speed honda you can email me for pics or any questions thanks for your time

Remove the timing covers and look at the belt.

Can I ask why you're selling it?
Where are you located? Are you the original owner, and do you have all maintenance records?

i am selling it to get a smaller car. (gas prices) im the 2nd owner i bought it from an old military couple that only drove it in town. they didnt have any records.(didnt even have the wheel lock)

i checked the timing belt and replaced the ignition moduel and the map sensor, still nothing. what i have done: replaced fuel filter/pressure reg. replaced intake manifold gaskets, replaced spark plugs, coils, control mod, map sensor, checked for spark/fuel both good, checked timing belt, ecu no throwing any codes. i am out of ideas what to check next. thanks in advance

ok, today i desided to go out and try to see if it would start. it did! runs perfect again!..........................but now i have another problem! it is puffing out black smoke
 it has never done this before. what could cause it to do this? ive read black smoke could be too much fuel, is this correct? if so how do i fix this problem? thanks in advance

Have you checked the starter? Alternator?

yes i have checked both under a load. it starts and runs perfect(after i changed the ignition mod) but now it blows out black smoke when you push on the accelerator. it has never dont that before
