This is a question that I hope that someone can answer for me.
My 1988 Buick Transmission is slipping so I bought a used on from a Wrecked car out of the Bone Yard. I had my son to pick it up and he because the Junk yard was many mile's away. Here is the problem, Even tho the transmissions Look the same just looking at them side by side. Here is a difference That I have noticed and was wondering if there was anyway around it. My Buick has a 5 Pin Round Plug that plug's into the Tranny right above the Mod. Valve But! The tranny that I bought from the Bone Yard only has a 4 Pin square plug. The wire color is the same except the 4 Pin plug does not have the orange wire. Can I make the Tranny work? and how can I munipulate the wire's? Thank's [email protected]
