navigation system
I had opted for the navigation unit in my Z, with the (perhaps foolish) assumption that I would be able to play dvd movies. It appears that the system only reads DVD-ROM discs, though.
Does anyone have any experience installing after market video systems? I'm guessing I need a seperate decoder, or perhaps a whole new player. Has anyone seen mention to who OEMed the navi unit? If I could figure out the manufacturer and model I should be able to figure out what is lacking. Thanks much.

yeah goto www.nav-tv.com. they make a kit to make ur nav system play DVD's and even make it a TV tuner.
