Re: vtec indicator and shiftlight on an ef9 cluster

the key thing is look for some vacant bulb slots for the shiftlight i just removed the overheat indicator, scratched the drawing on it with rubbing compound and used letter transfer for the "SHIFT" script.soldered some thin gauge wires to the new dash bulb.actually the shift is not yet working coz i still haven't got a shiftlight.for the "VTEC INDICATOR" same procedure then splice one wire to the solenoid and the other wire, look for a good ground and that's it.when VTEC kicks, the light should go.mine lights up at around 5000 rpm.ENJOY!!!

i saw a pair of those too this afternoon but it really needs to be repainted.the storeman told me its power adjust but not auto retract.he also told me the mirrors has an awkward view coz in japan it's rhd.still intrested?btw how would i know if it's auto retract?storeman told me auto reract mirrors have 5 wires attached to it but i only saw 3 wires on those mirrors.i wanna make sure if it's auto retract or not.

Re: vtec indicator and shiftlight on an ef9 cluster

hes right mate, you can tell because when u look at the electric mirror switch inside, you will see a small button with a picture of a mirror folding, its to the side of the steering column where yours is
