oil light on at idle ..any ideas

my daughters car is an 1995 buick century 4 cyl.. the oil light stays on at idle and quickly turns off when rpm s increase even slightly.. oil changes are frequent and level is not fluctuating.. would appreciate any advice... thanks

Welcome to AF. Get an auxiliary mechanical gage hooked up to where the oil sender is and take an actual reading, post back the results.
