Service Engine light
Our service engine light is constantly on. We have ran the code, and it comes bacjk as insufficient EGR flow. I have replaced the EGR valve and blew air down the pipe. Is there anything else I can do to get the light to stay off, cause now when they clear it it comes back on in abotu 5 mile or so. PLease e-mail me at [email protected] if you have any suggestions or ideas.
Thanks, and God bless. |

Re: Service Engine light
It would help to post the year of your Century within your post.
Check all vacuum lines to make sure they are good and no leaks especially to the MAP sensor behind the upper intake manifold. The EGR flow test uses MAP for testing. Have you checked the 5 volt PCM reference input signal at the EGR electrical connector?
