Installing cheap coilovers today.....+2 NEW KILLS

I will keep you all updated on how the car rides.

Since most of you should know, I am the cheap mod fiend, so if these colovers work out, i will suggest them to anybody and everybody, like the b16 throttle body.

&

Since im not a post whore, i'll also put my 2 most recent kills.....

KILL 1
3rd gen (?) Prelud (with the flip up headlights that look like the accord of the same years..

-the story...i pulled up behind this white prelude with one of those giant super gay whale tale spoilers and he had a fart can and some super light racing walmart hubcaps. I revved it up a little and so did he so i knew it was on. He turned, drove a short distance and pulled up onto the 2 lane interstate. while this was happening, i noticed that his right rear wheel with either 1)severly bent, 2)missing some lugnuts, or 3)really bad out of alignment; it was wobbling like i've never seen before. Anyways, before he pulls out onto the highway, his gf in the passenger seat flips me off out the window and he peels out. to make a long story short, i burned a little rubber and spanked that kid like he stole something.

KILL 2
1998 Chevy Prizm

Now before you all laugh, you should know that a 98 prizm has a 1.8L DOHC 125hp engine shared with the toyota corolla, which is the same stock hp of my d16z6. It is some dude i work with. anyways, we line em up on this 2 lane highway right outside my work and, although he gave me a harder run than the prelude, i still whooped it on him. (he slowed down becasue he said he thought his tire was low or something )

Anyways, just thought i'd like to share. Nobody in my town will race. theres this dude everybody calls Twink in a souped up focus with a body kit and all the trimmings but he wont race heh.

well, i got the coilovers installed. they're not really a bouncy ride at all except at speeds in excess of 90mph I'd recommend them to anyone.

As expected, the lower control arm bolt broke off and had to be drilled out and replaced, but a miracle occured. ONLY ONE broke off. the other came out fine. Anyways, my civic is slammed and it rides pretty damn good. Ima try to get some "slammed on steelies" pics tomorrow, which will have pics of my new cold air intake, msd coil, and some other goodies.

peace

they are generic brand. to be absolutely correct, i looked on the box. they are "CHASSIS TECH" LOL I dont care if they are walmart brand they are pretty nice. and im still on factory struts, but i belive they were changed not too long ago because they are still in perfect condition. I hope to get some KYBs.

I bought the coilovers @

http://www.truckn-store.com

A lot of people call them slow at shipping and bad business, but i ordered online and my coilovers were at my front door in less than a week. I was really happy with them.
