Used high-revving cars available today?

I hang around in sportbike section of this board, I am a rider, so I don't post usually post questions like these, but I am in market to buy another car. Unfortunately, right now I am having to get rid of my motorcycle CBR600, I need to replace it with a car "somewhat" as interesting, lol. I also had a Nissan Z32, but was sold this year as well. Now I am left not so sporty cars in my garage.

Anyway, the point. I am looking for a high-revving engined cars, close to or over 8k redline, I like shifting and revving, so I am sticking to a manual. The constraints are that I am looking for post 1998 models and has to fit the budget less than $8k. I was looking at the usual imports, I found the RSX-S to my liking and celica gts fits the bill - although I've read more negative reviews - about its engine and acceleration times compared to rsx. But is there any other I am forgetting? The S2000 and RX-8 would have been awesome, but it's a bit expensive for the car budget right now.

Thanks, all good info would be appreciated.
