Opinions on dipstick heaters please
The other morning (-10 F wind chill) had me worried. The engine sounded really rough for about 5 seconds after start up. I had visions of metal on metal and an oil slurpee. Thoughts?
How about other heater types? I have a 2 mile commute to and from work. It doesn't normally get this cold in KC but I'm hoping to minimize damage from these cold starts and short city trips. 2001 Isuzu Rodeo Sport V6 4x2 158K Last edited by palomo93; 01-16-2009 at 06:38 PM.
