Re: questions about map sensor and about manifold?

1. Yes, the turbo manifold will bolt right up.

2. You must mean MAF sensor, and yes, it should handle about 12-15psi.

3. Careful with that stock tranny.

Re: questions about map sensor and about manifold?

there is a difference in map and maf sensors but i believe that if you have a NA sr20 right now it has a maf sensor as opposed to the map sensor

Re: questions about map sensor and about manifold?

another question has come up along the way...how is the stock ignition system?can it handle boost or do i need to spend the money and get an external coil from MSD?

eh i tend to lean towards doing things the right way, so i would do it, not to say it couldnt handle it but with as tricky as it can be to tune your turbos initial setup, i would want to be 100% sure i had reliable spark

Re: questions about map sensor and about manifold?

id go the other way. ive never had a car where MSD was required. just make sure your stock system is in good shape and you should be fine. shit right now im building a 400 hp boosted ka24 and im gonna run the stock ignition system...only gonna upgrade the plugs with cooler platinum ones.
