Pontiac Grand Prix SE vs. Ford Taurus
I have a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix SE 3.1 V6 and i was driving around and this Ford Taraus pulls up beside me. It was like "pimped out" kinda funny for a Taurus, or sedan like car. so he rolled down his window and asked me if i wanted to race to the next light.....i floored it when it turned green and beat him by about a car length it seemed. Now for some reason.....i always thought Taurus could beat Grand prix Se's??

it depends on the taurus. if you go up against an SHO youll get smoked. but most of the newer ones had the 200ish hp 3.0l v6.

the 200 HP V6 was a pretty quick taurus to be honest, it was the other 3.0 that only had like 150 or something that was weak. I had the weak one.
