finally...

Its been feet of snow and months of anticipation, but finally, today...

The Beast has awoken!

...but only to go right under the wrench, lol. This weekend begins a full brake job, 60k, lifters, and driveshaft. Let the fun begin...and DAMN she needs a bath!

quick question. is that the stock location of the horn?? doesnt look right. been meaning to ask for a while. Something else that tips it off is that the wiring to it is obviously NOT stock. it dangles in front of the radiator and looks like household 12/2 electrical wire...like a F@$king lamp chord!

Re: finally...

Man, sounds like fun. It also sounds quite familiar to just some of the stuff I need to do on the Stealth.

Re: finally...

i've had a little project of my own the past 2 days. hopefully i'll finish tonight.

i installed some quick disconnect batter terminal connectors (very nice, snap clip, auto zone for $6 pair). then i installed a relay for the "click click start" fix. i then replaced my rear shocks. all these i did yesterday, along with dropping the downpipe. now today i modified the rear motor mount bracket to fit the 3SX Long Headers! w00t! pain in the ass to get it all to fit right, but its good now.

i think i'm gonna pick up some DR stage 3 heads, high rev springs/retainers...all for a steal of a deal. like 500 total. then cams later this summer, perhaps some bigger injectors, bigger fuel pump, then tune for some NA POWER!

not long, a local guy who had a built NA DOHC 3S is parting the car out b/c he wants to move on to another project car, so he's got a bunch of expensive performance parts he just wants gone, selling them for cheap. and i decided not to TT my car, so this is the next best thing: NA PWR!
