Cost of this Alpine Sub and Amp in retail?

On the website they are pretty expensive, but I'm assuming in stores they are much cheaper, but most of my stores don't carry them. If you can, please tell me how much you think they would cost in stores.

roughly after shipping and handling the pdx 1000.1 is 500 and the type r is around 120 that is the internet price.

retail is just as their website says. best buy wants 230 for the typr and the pdx can go as high as 750 i can see people paying that much.

Re: Cost of this Alpine Sub and Amp in retail?

Ok, one last thing, is this the right sub to go with the amp?

Amp http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-en/prod...odel=PDX-1.600

I think the AMP provides plenty of power, but I'm not sure if the sub needs to be 2Q + 2Q or 4Q + 4Q.... :-\

pretty much that amp is for the type r's and the pdx1000 is for the type x's.

and with that amp it does not matter.
