what tha?

can't seem to figure out why the 5 amp fuse to my dash lights blows when i shift into park. all i can figure is that a short is present somewhere? anybody
else had this problem before?? otherwise the ole '93 cherokee is in good shape
1st time jeep owner and i'm damned impressed so far.

Pull the shifter cover off and look for wiring that is cut and touching the metal ground.
