1998 blend door/heater control valve
bought blend door from dealer but took car to my mechanic and he said my blend door is not the problem and he even showed me how it works and it opens and closes he said the reason he thinks tha a/c blows out hot air is becuz of the heater control valve have anyone ever heard of this problem if so please tell me where it is located and could that be the problem

You can see the actuator, I assume thats what you purchased, you'd have to pull the dash apart or remove the glovebox and airbag to get a glimpse of the actuator.. You did run a self test no? What was the result?
