new exhaust system 93 z71 ext cab?

I want to replace the exhaust on my truck from the manifolds back. And also possibly do away with the "cat" and run true duals with two cherry bombs for mufflers. As Iam a welder i feel pretty comfortable tackling the job, but i just wanted you guys input before i started. Like the do's and don'ts and whether i should cut the cat out and the best place to source parts ie: pipe, hangers, etc. what size pipe should i buy? As this will be a custom exhaust, a kit just won't work unless i leave the stock configuration. Just lookin for some tips and guidance.

i got a 94. i put headers and a true dual 2 1/4 kit on it from summit. I dont know if they got a kit for manifolds, but you being a wealder you could modify one for headers easy enough. i put my o2 into my header, and it runs great. never had any problems because of my exaust.

that was my other concern was with sensors and whether i could keep the SEL from lighting up without having to disconnect it
