FI or Carb model?

Hey all, recently picked up a 1990 justy 4door 4wd with the 1.2L motor, motor seems to have a mechanical blockage inside, rod or something, have a 1988 justy 2dr as a donar car, same engine, now here's the issue, the 1990 says it's fuel injected, the 1988 also says it's fuel injected, but i've run across some info that says it's carburated
can someone clarify this for me? i don't have access to either car at the moment

the 1990 is fuel injected, and the 1988 is carburated, will be swapping the head from the 1990 to the block of the 1988, and then see what happens!
