Long blocks????
Given a choice:
Jasper Grooms Other ??????? Going to be long blocking my '95 4x4 Silverado. Just going by the estimates Jasper seems to be much more "bang for the buck". |

Re: Long blocks????
Actually GM upped the warranty. Now its 5 years or 50k miles I believe. Also, this includes oil leaks, noises, etc. Double check with the dealer, but I know it's longer than 3/36 now. Makes it a better deal now.

Re: Long blocks????
And remember the GM engine is all new. No rebuilt stuff.
Warranty parts and labor at any GM dealer. MT

Re: Long blocks????
I had Jasper Engines build me a Olds 350 rocket , supplied the block from a 69 model it was buillet proof 400hp 425ftpt and you can get then to break it in for you so you can put it in and go flat out . But i also own a truck my dad put a 300hp GM crate engine he got cheap cause he is a GM service writer and it just past 65000 miles and it still rocks like new so both are good choices it dependes on what you want out of it.

Re: Long blocks????
Its your money, spend it how you choose, but I don't see that theres any comparison from remanufactured to new, but thats just my opinion. Good luck
