1992 Z-24 Convertible Project FOR SALE!!! ***LOOK*** LOCATED IN CENTRAL VIRGINIA
By Project, I mean that this car DOES run and drive, but it needs some work-- however it CAN be driven home with no problems, this is not a basket case, people!!! I am selling under duress due to a need of money and a lack of time to deal with it. $600 firm. This is reasonable even for a parts car in running condition. A 3.1 that runs this well is worth $600 at most salvage yards. Only needs a battery to drive away.
LOCATED IN CENTRAL VIRGINIA -- NO DELIVERY IS INCLUDED, PROMISED, OR IMPLIED. 92 Z24 Convert, 3.1 V6, 5-speed manual, P/DL, P/W, CC, A/C, Black paint/top, grey inter, alloys, needs minor work, high miles but runs well, and drives good -- CLEAR, CLEAN TITLE. All stock, no mods. Further Details: 92 Z-24 Convertible, 218,000 miles (well-maintained) with no parts missing 3.1 V6 (no leaks or noises, holds 40 psi oil pressure at 195 degrees, no drop in pressure) 5-speed manual transmission (shifts well, no noises, partially rebuilt linkage, nice and tight) Clutch in good shape, no slippage, no noises, engages normally Original black paint (peeling badly, needs a paintjob, but no bodywork that I am aware of) Original black canvas stayfast-style top with glass rear window with defog (window separated, top leaks a bit but works fine, have priced new at $600-700, including the rear window) Light grey interior, (Phase 2 style, for those who know the difference) all in good shape except for carpet, which can probably be cleaned) Factory Phase 2 Z-24 Ground Effects and Emblems (all in good shape) Gauges include tach, speedo, oil press, temp 15" aluminum rims New alternator recently Tuned up 10,000 miles ago (25+ mpg) Two fairly fresh front tires Rear spoiler Power Windows/Locks (Work) Cruise Control (Works) A/C (may need charging) AM/FM Cassette (Works) Factory ABS (Works) To help prevent damage from the top and rear window leaking, the car has been fully wrapped in a tarp for the past year, started occasionally to keep the seals lubed. Runs great, needs rear brake work and minor exhaust work to pass Virginia State Safety Inspection. I have $800 in the car, first $600 takes it. I know if it sits another year, it might not be worth fixing, and I would rather see someone else get it that has the time to give it the attention it needs.... Definitely a project car, but is still an okay daily driver, could be a really nice car for someone willing to spend the time. Unfortunately, I do NOT have pics at the moment, I may try to get some posted if I can... Any sale on this car is final, I have been as honest as possible as to details on the car's condition. I probably would keep it if I didn't need the money. Any questions I can be reached at [email protected]
