ac/blower/vent question 95 blazer

The air from my airconditioner will not completely come thru the vents. It blows from the defrost and heat not out of the vents. It seems that about 50-55 mph it will blow completely from my defrost etc. however if I let off the gas or go down hill thus relieving strain on the motor it will partially blow out of the vents again. I am completely confused and don't even know where to begin?

Please help,
Sam

Vacuum.
Start at engine where the vacuum line hooks up to it.
And trace it to ac/heater controls.
Check vacuum tank and check valve to.
At the check valve is a good place to test for full vacuum.

Re: ac/blower/vent question 95 blazer

I have the same problem with my 96 Sonoma and the blower. We have followed the lines and have even taken the dash apart. The lines we need access to appear to be behind the radio and are the only ones we can't get to. The dealer said I probably have fluid in my lines and it could be eating away at them. Are there any good diagrams of the HVAC lines out there? Any suggestions? The dealer wants over $1200 to fix it since it is so labor intensive (or so they say).
