Engine light and traction coontrol light on
I have been having trouble with traction control and engine light on. I disconnected battery, connections to ECM etc, and still lights are on. Was told that a misfire could cause trouble, so off with lid and check spark plugs and all associated hardware. Is ABS sensors tied in this problem. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Engine light and traction coontrol light on
I just recently had the same problem. I contacted chev and asked them about the hub assembly (as mine was bad and in need of replacement). It appears that if you have a problem with your hub/bearing it can cause the sensor to mis-read and turn of the ETS and cause the ETS Off Light and Check Engine light to come on. I replaced mine this weekend, and it appears that it may have been the cause.
Check the forum and try using Electronic Traction into the search. |
