amp configuration help

1) is it possible to safely run three subs off one monoblock amplifier? how are the subs wired to the amp, in this case?

2) how would one go about wiring three bass subs to three monoblock amps, specifically, how do you run signal for three bass mono amps off one subwoofer preout from the headunit?

thanx for putting up with my stupid questions guys. trying to get my system straight, and my best friend is biulding his setup now, too, so we are kind of exploring ideas. i appreciate your help.

Re: amp configuration help

1. yes. depends on the vc config of the subs.
2. just like one amp/sub, but with a distro block for power/ground. use the preamp out of the first amp to run to the second, and same with second to third amp for signal. that is as long as the amp has a preamp output, otherwise get a splitter.
