Another 1992 Civic That Won't Start

A friend of mine has a 1992 civic 5 speed. oday he called me saying the car won't start. lond story short all the lights come on but when i turn the key i don't even the starter click. i tested the voltage to the startd solonoid with a multi-meter and i got no voltage. not to sure what to do now so i found this place. what can i do?

try hitting the starter while some one else tries to start it. If it starts then it needs a starter. If not it could be the ignition switch.

If you are sure the battery has a good charge and you got no voltage at the starter terminal then there must be something wrong with the cable from the
battery to starter. Check for open on that cable.
