What year 1990's Q45 should I buy???
Hi,
I'm looking to buy a large well-built car, and the Q45 has gotten my attention. I'm wondering which year models are the best for the Q45. I'm looking to spend no more than $6,000. Which year models were the best and still are a good value?? I'm currently looking at a 1996 Q45, Black, 99,000 miles, at a dealership online, $4,000. CarFax looks good but that's all I know. The seat looks a little cracked in the picture...is this very common with Q's? Please let me know what you think! Thanks! Matt |

Quote:
1994 and later don't have timing chain guide issue. 1996 is only OBD II model, no intake cam advance, and thus the slowest. Read at www.nicoclub.com to save yourself a lot of guessing. All posts by Q45tech and all articles and stickies in the Q45 Forum. If you only have $6K, don't spend more than $4K as even a perfect low mileage one will require $2K in parts from wear. Later 1999-2001 are slower, but a better daily driver, in general.
