93 prelude 5 speed cranking but not starting
Just came from mojave airport to Los angeles california 100 miles one way trip .stop over the post office to get some mail.
try to re-start the car, will crank and rotate but not start. after I wait for a little while then it starts? I'm not sure if this is a main relay hear no clicking sound . happens once in a while around two time per week.and in some cases I have to push and shift it on 2nd gear to release the clucth to start. if it is main relay how is this look like and the location thanks!. Re: 93 prelude 5 speed cranking but not starting
Hey, i have a 1995 honda prelude SI and all went through a HEADACHE with the EXACT same problem. I found it to be the Fuel Filter. Crazy huh? Basically, if it tries to wind over, and you DO hear a slight CLICK before the car starts (ignition relay) then i can bet you its ur fuel filter. It's about 20 to 30 bucks at ur honda dealership. It's worth it especially if you havn't replaced it in a while. Good Luck!

Re: 93 prelude 5 speed cranking but not starting
you guys should check the main relay thats under the dash on the driver side.
Its actually a common problem with some hondas. I'm on another forum, and there is a how to write up of how to fix it. Check out http://www.92lude.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5954 |
