i was wondering how easy it would be to add the m62 to my alero or would the 3800 superchargers work with no problem?

Re: 3400 engine + m62 supercharger?

nothing for a 3.8 will work on the 3.4.
Though they did make an Easton SC for the 3.4.

Saw one on ebay a couple months ago, was at $4400 and climbing. Reall pretty looking too

Thier were 5-6 99+ grand AMs with a factory Eaton, those are priceless

Re: 3400 engine + m62 supercharger?

well i bought the whole engine and tranny complete with everything no strings attached for $300 which it is including them pulling the engine and tranny out together and loading it right on the back of the pickup truck and away ill have the pictures soon i just have to think real hard about putting it in my alero or getting a shell to just put it in. i kinda dont want to have my only car down for 2 days though. so thats where i am at right now. it is the 225 hp engine series 1 out of a buick park avenue ultra. the only reason the car was in the junkyard was because it was hit in the rear

Re: 3400 engine + m62 supercharger?

well i have 3 decisions:

3800 supercharged engine in the alero with trans

or

3400 engine in the alero with supercharger
requires some things changed

or
find a shell or car with a bad trans/engine or a j body c body or a n body

Sounds like you got a good deal.
Looks like you'll be busy either way

Good Luck
