Wow! A quiet forum. Good or Bad?

Is this forum so quiet because there's just not enough RAV 4s out there to generate threads or is it the RAV 4 rarely breaks? I'm hoping it's the later because I just bought a new 06 Sport. What do you think? I won't hold my breath for an answer.

We bought the base model about 3 weeks ago. Love it but and surprised that this board is so quiet as well. I wanted a Red Sport but none were in our area at all. The sales guy said that they are not building many Sport models.

Maybe California is getting all the sport models. Dealer had 11 RAV 4 Sports and 2 base models. Tried to get a limited without the 3rd row seats and that blizzard pearl white but, there were none to be had. Settled for a white Sport without the rear seats. Thanks for the response. Kinda lonely here.

Re: Wow! A quiet forum. Good or Bad?

It must be that there are few issues, and of course you don't have all the hyped up technogeeks that live over at places like Bimmerfest.com. My 97 stick shift RAV4 is going strong even after my 17 year old learned to drive on it. That did include using the radiator and a/c heat exchanger as energy absorbers in a small front end incident, which left the "bumper" unscathed except for a crack in one turn signal lens. Unbending the radiators by pulling the centers forward left the car good as new, amazingly. I tweaked the headlight alignment back a bit, too. Ray

Re: Wow! A quiet forum. Good or Bad?

My friend has a '97 with 260K and it is still going strong. Probably a good car.

Another friend has '06 that I have a question but I will post it in another thread... That's the reason why I am in this forum now.

Re: Wow! A quiet forum. Good or Bad?

RIP,
Maybe good news. The slow site and all. or could be the type of people that buy a Rav4 are the kind of people that are out doing stuff all the time, not reading blogs on ye 'ol desktop. Wife and I are leaning topward a Rav4 with 3rd row seats and the V-6. Like to pull a boat and 3,500 tow capacity is more than enough for a bass boat. Any good or bad your hear about towing, please post. I'll be watching.
Thanks
